Great to meet you!

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, social justice is at the core of my personal and professional life. I understand it is my role to listen, believe, and validate the unique experiences of clients from marginalized communities, specifically the BIPOC community.

I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents in public schools providing group and individual therapy. I am familiar with the struggles that adolescents face most notably anxiety, school adjustment, and relationships.

My approach to therapy

I work from a strengths-based perspective and feel strongly that you have the answers to help yourself. My role is to highlight your strengths and identify realistic coping tools that can help move you through this difficult time.

What you can expect from me

I am also uniquely familiar with the experiences of public school teachers and the stress caused by unrealistic expectations. Additionally, I enjoy supporting young adults who are struggling with life transitions after high school. This can be an overwhelming time and allowing space to process these feelings is important.
