Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and over 15 years of experience in mental health care across inpatient, crisis, and outpatient settings. I provide medication management and supportive, evidence-based treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing a range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders. My approach is collaborative and individualized, with a focus on helping patients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment plan. I strive to integrate thoughtful medication strategies with practical, real-world support to improve overall functioning and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, with an emphasis on meeting clients where they are without judgment. I take time to understand each person’s unique history, symptoms, and goals, and work together to develop a treatment plan that feels realistic and sustainable. My focus is on thoughtful medication management paired with supportive, evidence-based care that promotes both symptom relief and overall functioning. I aim to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive and supportive evaluation where we take time to understand their current concerns, psychiatric history, medical background, and personal goals for treatment. I focus on creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients can speak openly and feel heard. Together, we begin to clarify diagnoses when appropriate and discuss initial treatment options, which may include medication strategies, lifestyle considerations, and supportive interventions. My goal is for clients to leave the first visit with a clearer understanding of their symptoms and a collaborative, individualized plan for next steps in care.
