Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience providing therapy to adults across a range of life stages and challenges. I have worked extensively with individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions, including veterans and those adjusting to medical or life-related changes.

My background includes clinical work in healthcare and community-based settings, where I focus on helping clients build insight, resilience, and practical coping skills. I strive to create a supportive, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and actively involved in the process. I take time to understand each person’s unique experiences and tailor treatment to their goals, strengths, and needs.

My style is supportive and down-to-earth, while also focusing on building insight and concrete skills that clients can use in everyday life. I work with clients to develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I am especially mindful of trauma-informed care and helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying what you’d like to gain from our work together. I focus on helping clients feel comfortable and understood while gathering a clear picture of their concerns, strengths, and goals.

Together, we’ll begin outlining practical, realistic goals for therapy and discuss what approach may be most helpful moving forward. My goal for the first session is for clients to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clear sense of next steps.
