Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Britni, and I’m really glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in trauma therapy, and I work with individuals who’ve experienced things like domestic violence, sexual abuse, grief, family and relationship issues, and PTSD. I use EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches to support healing at your pace.

I also work with women navigating the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy and postpartum—whether that means preparing for motherhood, adjusting after birth, or processing postpartum depression and anxiety.

I have experience supporting military service members, veterans, and their families, and I understand the unique stressors that come with those roles.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and open-minded. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to be fully yourself, without judgment. Clients often describe me as someone who makes it easy to open up and feel understood. I know taking the first step isn’t always easy, but I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are; whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious about your next step. I draw from EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered techniques to support healing and growth at your pace. I work through a trauma-informed lens, always holding space for your story with care and respect. Therapy with me often feels like a mix of reflection, support, and real conversation. You're the expert on your life, I'm just here to help you feel more empowered in it.

What you can expect from me

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, more understood, and more equipped to face what’s ahead. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and create real, lasting change. We’ll gently work through the layers of trauma at your pace, while also building practical tools like setting healthy boundaries, coping with tough emotions, and using mindfulness to stay grounded. I bring a warm, laid-back, and open-minded energy to therapy, and I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Over time, you can expect to feel more empowered, more at peace, and more in control of your story!
