My approach to therapy

Britt’s therapeutic approach is rooted in eclecticism, integrating various evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies. Britt is a trauma informed therapist, gender affirming for LGBTQIA+ clients, and has done training in attachment theory and the Neuro-affective Relational Model (NARM) for Complex-PTSD. By tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs, Britt fosters a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship, as well as a supportive space for clients to explore various aspects of their lives.
