My clients vary in age from 2-102 years old. My experience prepares me to work with families and children as well as adults seeking a non-judgmental approach.I believe counseling others is an honor and I cherish the relationships built. Sharing the counseling relationship allows me to meet and work with many brilliant and amazing people. I accompany them as they clarify their values, decide who they are in this crazy world, and take actions to have longer moments of feeling great! I’ve witnessed great changes in my clients and am so impressed with the work they do.

A first session with Britt consists of a review of the client's goals, hopes, and intentions with regard to signing up for therapy. The hope is that by the end of the session we will know if it's a "match". I will review and talk more in the first session than you will hear in any other session. You can ask me questions and I will definitely be asking you questions about yourself. It's a real "getting to know you" time. I will begin a traditional assessment but we likely wouldn't get through it all in the first session. Be prepared to tell me why you decided to enter into therapy.
