Great to meet you!

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2013 and hold LPC and NCC credentials. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication from Ferris State University. Much of my experience comes from public mental health settings, where I’ve worked with diverse populations across a wide range of needs. I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Infant Mental Health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, inquisitive, collaborative and radically genuine. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are, without having to filter yourself or worry about being judged. That means you can expect me to be a real person, too. I’m not going to hide behind clinical jargon, pretend to have all the answers, or sit silently nodding along for 50 minutes.

I believe in creating a space where you feel genuinely heard and supported while also being challenged when it can help you move forward. I ask questions, help identify patterns, and work with you to better understand what may be keeping you stuck. I’ll be honest and direct with you, and I’ll encourage you to be honest with yourself - but I’ll do it with compassion and without judgment.

I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs, goals, and experiences. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem, feeling overwhelmed, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to identify meaningful, practical steps toward the changes you want to make.

And yes, I’m more than comfortable with swearing. Come as you are—you never have to censor yourself with me.

Everyone is welcome here, and I cannot wait to meet you!

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can collaborate toward your overall wellness goals. I incorporate psychoeducation to help guide treatment choices and support you in building the skills needed for meaningful, lasting change.

I look forward to meeting you and learning together about how we can best help you to achieve your overall wellness goals.
