Great to meet you!
I graduated from East Central University with a Master’s in Psychological Services in 2019. Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings providing individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
- I began my career in an outpatient community mental health setting where I worked with clients experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and substance use disorders. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I transitioned to a psychiatric hospital setting where I primarily provided therapy to adults, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and geriatric clients experiencing a mental health crisis. In this setting, I have also worked with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. My experience also includes working in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs with adults, as well as a residential program with children. Working across these different levels of care has given me a broad understanding of mental health and the unique needs clients may experience at different points in their journey.
- I strive to create a supportive, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and able to work toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, and I work with each client to better understand their individual experiences, identify their goals, and develop practical strategies to support their well-being.
