Dr. Brittany Adams

Welcome! My name is Dr. Brittany Adams. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice since 2019. I obtained my Doctorate in 2021. I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years with the later 16 years in Psychiatry. I see patients of all age groups, across the lifespan. I treat individuals with any/all mental health disorders. I sub-specialize in addiction psychiatry.

I am a compassionate, patient-focused psychiatric provider. Expertise in providing therapeutic care for patients with mental, behavioral, and substance use disorders. My focus is on the patient-centered approach all while being guided by current evidenced based practice guidelines. I respect patient diversity and provide nonjudgmental care all while valuing each patient’s unique individuality. Safety is a priority and boundary setting discussions are an important factor with the care I provide. Previous clients have let me know that one of my strengths is being able to create a warm environment where they have been able to open up about things they have never shared before.

It is my goal for my patients to feel seen and heard as an individual with differing needs to be met. I want my patients to feel empowered and to leave a visit feeling a sense of relief. I create an environment of peace and comfortability. I value educational discussions and want each and every patient to understand their treatment plan to include medications, diagnoses, therapy, non-medication modalities, and physiological health. I expect myself to provide exceptional care for each and every person, as they deserve.
