Great to meet you!

Working with me means working with someone who takes the time to understand you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, autism, and depression, and I bring training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help you build skills you can use every day. My approach is deeply person-centered, which means your goals drive the work we do together. I create a space where you can slow down, figure out what you actually want, and build a treatment plan that fits your real life. I see clients across a wide age range and particularly enjoy supporting women navigating life transitions, parenthood, and identity. I also incorporate animal-assisted therapy techniques for clients who find that approach meaningful.

My approach to therapy

I came to this work through years on the front lines of community mental health, including crisis response, outpatient care, and field-based support. Those experiences showed me how much access to consistent, quality care can change someone's life. When I became a licensed clinical social worker, I made a commitment to bring that same depth of care to a private practice setting, where I can offer the flexibility and focused attention that real healing requires.

What you can expect from me

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the foundation of everything. I will meet you where you are, move at a pace that works for you, and make sure we are always building toward something that matters to you. I am currently accepting new telehealth clients across North Carolina. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
