Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Brittney, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (MA) based in Texas. I believe that the core of healing begins when you find yourself in an environment where you feel safe and supported. My goal is to meet you where you are and help guide you to where you want to be. You are the expert of your life and the builder of your own future, and together, we can use this to help you achieve your goals.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that deeper healing comes from working on the whole person, not just individual parts. My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy mixed with a Person-Centered Approach, integrating elements of holistic healing and positive psychology. This method works on improving the mind, body, and soul, helping you become your best self.

My diverse background in the healing arts has made me highly effective with individuals experiencing stress, relationship issues, lack of motivation, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, communication problems, and those within the LGBTQIA+ community. I also offer insight into religion and spirituality, having graduated from a seminary that incorporated both into our program. I understand the impact that one's spirituality and religion can play in their healing, and we can incorporate this into your counseling if you wish.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in working with ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Family relationships, Gender identity, LGBTQIA+ support, Multicultural/Diversity issues, Spirituality, Stress, SonderMind Video Telehealth, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Intimate/Romantic relationships, and Anger Management.

The most important step is acknowledging that you are ready to get help, and you've already taken that step! Great job! I am here to support you through these next steps and empower you to become a healthier you. I look forward to working with you!
