Great to meet you!

Welcome! You have already taken an important and courageous first step! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is built on a foundation of trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. Every individual’s story is unique, and I strive to honor that uniqueness by tailoring my approach to fit your specific needs, goals, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is collaborative and flexible, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities. I may incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, or Solution-Focused Therapy to emphasize strengths and set goals, Motivational Interviewing to enhance self-awareness and strengthen your internal drive for change, or Mindfulness-Based Therapy to encourage greater presence, self-compassion, and emotional regulation, and more. My role is to guide you through this process, offering empathy, insight, and practical tools that empower you to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. If you are ready to take the next step, I will be here to support, encourage, and walk beside you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, this is a time to build rapport and get a clear understanding of what brought you to therapy. We will come up with several goals as a starting point and I will gather background information to get a baseline for your treatment plan. We will also go over policies and expectations. There will time to ask any additional questions. You will leave the first session feeling heard and confident about the therapeutic process about to begin.
