Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Brooke Fitch-Collins, LPCC (MN) and LPC (WI). Most of the client I work with identify as very stressed out parents of young children, or those that are experiencing stress and anxiety as part of becoming a parent. Many of my clients have experienced significant loss on their journey to become a parent, or are dealing with the loss of identity after having children. My hope when meeting with you would be to allow space to navigate this time of matrescence and come back to yourself in a more grounded and calm way. I help parents come down from th high levels of stress they experience as a parent and work to find themselves again in the chaos.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative and supportive approach to help you develop emotional balance and identify healthy coping strategies. Let's work together to find healing and growth. I approach therapy through a variety of models that allow me to view my clients through a whole-person perspective. I pay special attention to what you learned about yourself and how to be in relationships with others through how that was modeled to you throughout various times in your life. This helps us identify what is happening for you in your life now, and how this can help us understand what you need in your path forward.

What you can expect from me

Whether you're struggling with persistent sadness, overwhelming worry, or difficulty coping with life's challenges, I can provide you with the tools and support you need to improve your mental health. We'll work together to identify the root causes of your symptoms and develop effective coping strategies to help you live a more fulfilling life. My clients typically start session with "I feel like a mess" and end session by saying "wow, I feel a lot lighter now." My hope is that you would feel the same relief and lightness at the end of our sessions together.
