Great to meet you!

Whether you’re a working professional struggling with anxiety or overwhelming stress; a first responder with past or current trauma; someone navigating substance use; or someone seeking balance and/or growth, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will work through the obstacles holding you back so you can regain a sense of clarity, balance, and purpose.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is an active, compassionate partnership. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model; instead, I combine evidence-based practices with a practical, down-to-earth environment where you can speak candidly, feel understood, and make measurable progress. With six years of experience, I intentionally draw from complementary modalities to ensure your care is both structured and personalized.

In session, we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to actively map out the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, breaking down overwhelming problems into clear, manageable action steps. When emotions feel intense or overwhelming, we incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, practicing real-time exercises in distress tolerance and emotional regulation so you can stay grounded, decrease anxiety, and respond rather than react to stress.

When navigating life transitions, substance use, or feeling stuck, we use Motivational Interviewing to explore ambivalence, align your goals with your core values, and empower you to move forward at a sustainable pace. Finally, for trauma and distressing past events, we utilize Written Exposure Therapy (WET)—a brief, highly structured protocol where we process traumatic memories safely through guided writing exercises without requiring months of endless re-telling.

Together, these methods work hand-in-hand: offering you immediate coping tools for daily stress while creating a structured, safe framework for long-term healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I offer convenient, up to 60 minute secure telehealth services to clients across North Carolina. I accept both insurance and private pay. I offer a free 15 minute consultation where you decide if you want to move forward. You can expect a balance of deep listening, gentle accountability, and tangible tools.
