Great to meet you!

Hello and Welcome! My preferred name is Brooke and my desire is to empower you to discover your true self: what you really want in life and the unique journey to get there. I have a lifetime of experience in healing through creativity, including movement, art, meditation, emotional regulation, and exploration of joy and pleasure. I worked as a Behavior Specialist for 15 years, and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling has allowed me to apply my skills in tailored ways. I have also worked as a Personal Trainer, dance instructor, and performance artist which has given me the ability to see details in the body's expression that tell a specific story, which is often important to explore in therapy.

My approach to therapy

Blending elements of Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Exercises, EMDR, Mindfulness, and ACT, my approach meets you where you are. I also reflect what I see in your physical expressions within our session. I feel that the body's movements within session can go beyond the mind and thoughts, giving us authentic clues into your unconscious. I will often reflect what I see in a person's posture and movements while they are speaking in order to explore what the body needs and wants.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is catered to your needs in the present moment. If you are experiencing a pressing issue, we can explore your needs and wants now. If you want to heal traumas from the past, we will begin with a more in-depth approach to ensure a solid foundation is begun between us.
