Great to meet you!

I am so glad that you are here! 😊

I love the work that I do, and I am passionate about helping others on their journey. I have an easy-going and judgement-free approach to therapy- when we meet it will always be a safe space. One of my mottos is to “meet my clients where they are.” Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you have worked with a therapist before, I want each of my clients to feel the warmth and compassion that can come from working with me in my practice.

My approach to therapy

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology & a Master of Education degree in school counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor, and licensed school counselor. The majority of my career has been working with children stretching from kindergarten to senior year, and supporting the adults in their families through behavioral skills training & conjoining family therapy sessions. Though I have primarily worked with children and adolescents, I am very open to supporting adults on their mental health journey as well. I have worked with many clients from a variety of backgrounds with presenting concerns such as: relationship and interpersonal struggles, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional disturbances, special education, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, various forms of substance abuse, etc.

What you can expect from me

My main goal as a therapist is to help my clients feel empowered, and I do this through active listening, providing my clients with education on their presenting concerns, and reminding them that they are never alone with their struggles. After sessions, I want all of my clients to feel seen & supported by me as a therapist, and this can look different for each client. I strive to meet each of my client’s individual needs. The basis of my work as a therapist is to develop strong relationships with my clients - I believe this is the foundation for interpersonal growth and developing something great between the therapist and the client.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me - I look forward to hearing from you.
