Great to meet you!

Expect from me faithful attention to your needs, spoken & unspoken, to your best self, your dreams & what might be getting in the way. I became a counselor to help others BE FREE - to claim & express your most courageous self. With mindful compassion & acceptance, I specialize in shame and depression.

Our goal together: emotional liberation from shame, depression, anxiety and other barriers that impede your growth and joy. Let's begin!

My approach to therapy

I will ask you clarifying questions designed to help you see needs, desires and "issues/problems" from the best angles, ones that I will largely get FROM YOU. One quote about therapy I love is that hopefully each person can find someone "who listens more deeply than I can hear myself". But insight doesn't necessarily lead to change. So I will support and challenge you to grow. I work with persons healing from religious trauma (high control groups).

What you can expect from me

One way to measure your progress is when your questions begin to evolve so you can see new opportunities, lessons and paths forward.
