Great to meet you!

We often carry our heaviest burdens in the quietest moments. Whether you are navigating the intersection of sexual orientation and faith, or moving through the shadows of past trauma and grief, the journey can feel isolating. My goal is to help you stop holding it all together on the outside while feeling like things are falling apart on the inside.

I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University in Denver. My professional background spans both agency and private practice settings, where I have specialized in serving the LGBTQIA+ community and those navigating religious transitions, as well as individuals facing anxiety, depression, and self-worth challenges.

My approach goes beyond just managing symptoms; we will work together to read your body and heart, redefining who you are to create a stronger, joy-filled self. Whether we are using CBT, ACT, or Internal Family Systems (IFS), our work will be a springboard for resilience. I understand this path deeply—both personally and professionally. Genuine healing thrives where you feel truly seen and heard. You don’t have to do this alone; let’s begin.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the belief that therapy isn't just about managing symptoms—it’s about redefining who you are. I work from a trauma-informed perspective that honors the connection between your body and your heart, helping you move from 'holding it all together' to truly thriving.

In our sessions, I integrate evidence-based modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore the different parts of your internal world, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build practical tools for daily resilience.

I specifically strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for those navigating complex intersections, particularly around faith, spirituality, and LGBTQIA+ identity. My goal is to help you find grounded confidence and inherent strength, ensuring you never have to carry your burdens alone.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my first priority is to create a comfortable, low-pressure space where you feel safe to land. Our first session is primarily a 'get-to-know-you' conversation. We will explore your story, the specific burdens you are carrying right now, and what you hope to gain from our time together.

We will also cover some necessary housekeeping—reviewing your history and discussing how we can work together—but mostly, I want to understand your world. You don’t need to have perfectly organized thoughts or 'know' exactly what to say. Just bring yourself, and we will take it from there.
