Great to meet you!

If you found me, you're likely outside of "the norm." I enthusiastically affirm fat, disabled, gender and sexual minority, polyam, and Black, Indigenous, other People of Color in our therapy sessions. I work to help us create a space to explore trauma healing, understand emotional patterns in your romantic relationships, identify family of origin/attachment concerns, hold boundaries, explore your sexual and gender identity, & support you with grief and loss, ADHD, Autism, anxiety, or depression.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is collaborative, integrating wisdom from your experiences & counseling theories rooted in empowerment and equity. I consider your family influences and how systemic "isms" impact you & your relationships.

I am a sex-positive therapist and welcome all relationships, whether you're seeking pre-marital therapy, are a poly, kink, BDSM, or LGBTQIA+ relationship.

I use Emotion-Focused Therapy to help you get curious about how your attachment styles (the way you relate to significant people) impact your relationships. Together we'll note relational patterns aren't working and strengthen the ones that are. With Narrative Therapy, I'll encourage you to consider your strengths and creative solutions. We'll use Internal Family Systems to help you reconnect to your core, authentic self and parts you may have ignored or been afraid to look at.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a moment to get to know you, to hear what your goals are for therapy, and for us to create a sense of how we will work together to help you reach your goals.
