Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland and Virginia with over five years of experience providing outpatient therapy to adults and adolescents in community-based settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland and my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I approach my work with compassion, empathy, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, and relationship-based concerns, helping clients navigate challenges with greater clarity and self-trust.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion and collaboration. I help clients slow down, notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and build flexibility in how they respond, especially in moments of stress or emotional overwhelm. Drawing from EMDR, ACT, CBT, and attachment-based modalities, sessions may include skills for grounding and values-based action alongside deeper processing of past experiences. I prioritize emotional safety and pacing so therapy feels supportive, not overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, low-pressure space focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, current concerns, and what you hope therapy might help with, while also paying attention to what helps you feel safe and comfortable. I’ll share how I work, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you to identify initial goals or next steps. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and with a clearer sense of how we might move forward together.
