Great to meet you!

Facing the struggles of life today can be confusing and overwhelming, and it is amazing that you are taking this step to work on your mental health. For the past 10 years, my journey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has been rooted in the profound privilege of helping adults, seniors, and couples establish a safe and empowering baseline for their care. Operating via telehealth in both Indiana and Idaho, I work with clients struggling with all kinds of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and grief. The truth is, we all have struggles in life—everyone, no matter how well and put together some seem! Therapy gives us the ability to sort through these struggles and make a plan on how to deal with them. I provide an open, safe, and collaborative space to help you learn more about yourself and what you want out of your own life. We only have one life, so let's design yours your way.

My approach to therapy

I believe that genuine emotional growth flourishes when we balance rigorous, evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic, human connection. As your therapist, I will be open-minded, honest, and supportive, bringing an approach that is casual, explorative, and can even be fun and humorous at times. I use an eclectic, holistic approach because all parts of an individual are important when addressing mental health. By utilizing tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing, we will outline tangible goals to assist you in finding your own direction. I do not just believe in treating conditions or symptoms; I prioritize psychoeducation, skills training, and journaling to ensure you have the knowledge and practical tools to address symptoms on your own. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe space for self-reflection and empowerment so that you can create meaningful, lasting change in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support takes immense courage, and my hope is that our initial telehealth meeting acts as a quiet refuge where you can safely step away from the heavy demands of daily stress. I strive to cultivate a calm, non-judgmental environment right from the start. In our first session, we will gently explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. We will get to know each other and develop a collaborative understanding of the unique issues you are facing. Once we have built that foundation, we will work together to create a treatment plan that fits your vision for the future. I will be there to join you on your journey of self-discovery, taking every step with you and supporting your path so you come away feeling empowered and great about yourself.
