Calvin Walker

My name is, Calvin Walker, and I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I been with the Department of Public Safety in the Division of Juvenile Justice for over 16 years working with at-risk youth. I have a encountered a wide array of challenges that have shaped my therapeutic growth. The hands on experience coupled with the educational components in completing the master's program to get licensed widened my therapeutic Lens and gave me the tools to be a more effective counselor.

The foundation of my therapeutic approach is Cogntitive Behavioral Therapy. I also embrace a wholistic style, while incorporating interventions focused on finding balance in the mind, body, and soul.

I would like my clients to walk away feeling empowered and encouraged to do the work as well as optimistic that a positive will occur in their lives as a result.
