Great to meet you!

Hi, all — I’m glad you found your way here. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, misunderstood, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with arrive carrying years of stress, trauma, neurodivergent experiences, relationship challenges, or the feeling that they’ve been trying to “hold it all together” for too long.

You might be navigating panic attacks, parenting stress, OCD cycles, communication struggles, or the weight of expectations that don’t quite fit. You may be hoping for relief, clarity, or simply a place where you can show up exactly as you are.

I’m trained in ERP, trauma-focused CBT, play therapy, and child-parent psychotherapy, and I regularly draw from DBT, EMDR, and CBT. I bring these approaches into sessions in a way that feels supportive, practical, down-to-earth, and tailored to you.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and focused on your goals. Early on, we’ll clarify what you want to work on and explore how your past and present experiences show up in your everyday life. I see each person as part of a larger system—family, identity, environment, and relationships—and we’ll consider how those pieces interact.

I’m a skills-based therapist, which means I’ll offer practical strategies you can use both in and outside of session. This might include grounding and regulation tools for panic, communication skills for family or relationship work, or developmentally appropriate interventions for children and teens.

Our work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that you deserve to feel understood and supported.

I bring a warm, open-minded, and sometimes quirky energy to sessions. Humor can be a helpful way to relax and connect, and I appreciate that sometimes a little sarcasm is exactly what’s needed. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without judgment.

I’ll meet you where you are, walk alongside you at a pace that feels right, and help you reconnect with your strengths.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a space that feels both welcoming and real. Past clients often describe me as empathetic, with a sense of humor and a healthy appreciation for sarcasm. I’m direct in a way that helps us get to the heart of what’s going on, but I’m equally committed to making sure the process feels safe, steady, and manageable.

We’ll take things slowly, build awareness, and practice staying present rather than jumping straight into problem‐solving. I want you to feel comfortable enough to be honest, curious, and open as we explore what’s bringing you in.

My goal isn’t just to help you “fix” what feels difficult. It’s to help you understand yourself more fully, recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and begin developing tools that support the life and relationships you want. The first session is simply the start of that work—grounded, collaborative, and centered on you.
