Great to meet you!

My passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience and who struggles with the effects of trauma in the body. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. I am fluent in English and Portuguese. As a client-centered and trauma-informed therapist, I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative space and a vehicle for change.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in EMDR and a certified Brainspotting practitioner. I utilize a variety of somatic techniques to help clients understand the connection of body and mind in overall wellness. I practice through the lens that the behaviors we choose in the present moment are adaptable skills of survival. If understanding them, we can change undesirable behaviors and improve our overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in trauma-informed and mind-body therapies to alleviate stress and foster serenity. In working with me, people will learn how to integrate mental and physical wellness while understanding the impact of the past in our every day triggers.
