Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I'm a mental health therapist who creates a safe, supportive, judgment free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. With a Master's degree from Eastern Michigan University and nine years in social work, including time as a middle and high school social worker, I bring both clinical training and real world experience to our work together. I'd love to help you take that first step.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients ages 10 and older, and I know anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions can feel different for everyone. That's why I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and strength based and attachment focused techniques, so you build practical coping skills, explore solutions, and grow your self awareness and emotional resilience. I've worked as a middle and high school social worker, and I understand the unique challenges people face with relationships, work, school, identity, and change. Whatever your age or background, I bring that same compassionate, equity minded care to you. We'll work at your pace, and together we'll identify your strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll start by getting to know each other so I can hear your story and understand what brought you here. We'll talk through your goals and what you're hoping therapy can help with, and I'll answer any questions about how we'll work together. Because sessions are virtual, you can show up as your most authentic self from a space that feels comfortable to you. You'll leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
