Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's transitions with confidence, resilience, and self-compassion. I work with teens, young adults, and adults up to age 45, with a particular focus on supporting those who are entering new phases of life. Whether you're graduating from high school, starting college, beginning a career, or adjusting to increased independence and responsibility, I provide a supportive space to process challenges and build skills for success.

I also enjoy working with women experiencing anxiety and depression at all stages of life. Together, we explore the factors contributing to emotional distress, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward greater balance, self-understanding, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, humorous, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly discuss their experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and change.

Whether you are navigating a major life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply seeking support and personal growth, I am committed to helping you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your current concerns, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I feel like a good fit for your needs.

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it's your first experience with counseling. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin.
