Great to meet you!

I work with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety as they navigate the challenges and transitions that occur throughout early adulthood. Many have also experienced trauma stemming from abuse or from years of complex relationships with parents/caretakers.

I'm licensed to see patients in Florida, Illinois, and Michigan.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I primarily use a psychodynamic approach in therapy, which means we'll explore your inner thoughts and feelings to understand how they affect your behaviors and relationships. I find that this approach helps patients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and resolve underlying issues, resulting in long-term relief and improvement.

I also recognize that treatment plans are as unique as each individual, so I tend to personalize therapy by integrating DBT skills or creative interventions, depending on you and your goals.

What you can expect from our first session

I spend the first several sessions getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you'll walk away feeling more settled than when you came in.

My goal is always to partner with patients to build a safe space where you can share and process your experiences. Over time, we'll draw from your natural abilities to find new ways of approaching problems and to boost your confidence in tackling challenges, so that life feels a little easier to navigate.
