Great to meet you!

Are you struggling with the demands of life? You are not alone. We all struggle at times and could use a helping hand to bridge over the troubled waters. My counseling experience began in 2014 while working with children and their parents or caregivers. I saw the impact of family struggles and sought additional training in anger management, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, addictive behaviors, and marriage and family counseling. I provide faith-based counseling to clients desiring to incorporate biblical truth in the journey to wholeness. Great personal satisfaction is derived from using primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other modalities of counseling to help clients achieve their desired outcomes. With certifications in SYMBIS and Prepare-Enrich, I help engaged and married couples prepare and thrive in their love relationships. I received training in effective parenting through the Love and Logic approach. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients to build resilience and find contentment with self and others. I am currently licensed to work with clients in NC and AL.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy is my primary approach to counseling while other modalites can be useful depending on the client and curcumstances. I value each person seeking a counseling relationship and appreciate the opportunity to share the journey of each unique client.
