Great to meet you!

I help adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by past experiences, relationship stress, or major life transitions. Many of my clients appear to be “holding it together” on the outside while feeling exhausted, anxious, or disconnected inside.

I provide ongoing individual therapy, and weekly sessions are often especially helpful when working through unresolved trauma, persistent anxiety, or long-standing emotional patterns. My approach is steady, thoughtful, and paced in a way that feels safe and manageable.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) and EMDRIA Certified Therapist with over 16 years of experience in counseling and clinical education. I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and spent a decade teaching and training counselors alongside providing direct clinical care.

I provide telehealth services through ClearSight Trauma & Behavioral Health Services, PLLC, serving clients in Texas and Arkansas.

My approach to therapy

I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a primary part of my work. EMDR is a structured, trauma-informed approach that helps reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences and supports meaningful, lasting change. While often associated with trauma and PTSD, EMDR can also be helpful for anxiety, depression, grief, and patterns of emotional overwhelm.

Alongside EMDR, I integrate practical and supportive strategies from CBT and mindfulness-based approaches to strengthen emotional regulation, clarity, and resilience. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and focused on sustainable progress — not rushing or forcing change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a calm, nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out. In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what feels most pressing right now.

Clients often share that they begin to feel more settled, clearer, and better able to respond rather than react as therapy progresses. Whether we’re processing past experiences or addressing present-day stress, my goal is to help you feel more stable, empowered, and connected to yourself over time.
