Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Carllie Meeks, a licensed therapist specializing in eating disorders, body image, and identity work. I hold a Masters degree from Loyola University Chicago and have extensive experience supporting adults in their recovery through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with compassion and curiosity, helping clients reconnect with their bodies and sense of self. I’m especially passionate about creating affirming spaces for BIPOC individuals navigating healing and self-acceptance

My approach to therapy

My style is warm and grounded, creating space for both vulnerability and growth. I’m especially attuned to the unique experiences of individuals from marginalized backgrounds who are navigating recovery and identity healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we’ll begin to explore what brings them to therapy and what they hope to gain from it. I take time to learn about your background, experiences, and current challenges while also discussing what feels most important for you to focus on. We’ll move at your pace and start identifying goals together that feel both meaningful and manageable. My intention is to help you feel seen, supported, and understood as we begin building a foundation for your healing and recovery journey.
