Great to meet you!

Some of the most meaningful moments in therapy happen when someone finally feels understood, supported, and inherently worthy, just as they are. As an LCSW with experience in community mental health and school-based settings, I work with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity questions, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My hope is to help you make sense of your experiences and feel freer to relate to yourself and others with greater authenticity and ease. I'd love to connect if this resonates.

My approach to therapy

I believe emotions carry wisdom about our needs, values, and experiences, and that meaningful change begins with compassion and curiosity to safely explore them. In therapy, we slow things down to understand emotions, patterns, and relationships while building practical skills that support daily life. Depending on your goals, this may include strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, building emotional regulation and executive functioning skills, developing parenting skills, or clarifying your values. We also work to reconnect with internal resources such as courage, presence, and playfulness, as well as external supports that help sustain change outside of therapy. At times, this involves experimenting with new ways of responding, and at other times learning to safely witness and care for parts of experience that have been avoided. I tailor therapy to each client’s goals, strengths, and readiness, and may gently challenge or offer new perspectives when it supports growth.

What you can expect from me

We start by getting to know each other and what brings you to therapy. There’s no pressure to share more than you want or to say things perfectly, and you can come back to or adjust what you’ve shared as we go. My goal is to understand what matters most to you, begin making sense of your experiences together, and create a space where you feel comfortable moving at your own pace. By the end, we'll have a clearer sense of what may be most helpful moving forward and address any initial questions you may have.
