Great to meet you!

After a strong focus on health, military resiliency, and witnessing different levels of mental health challenges, I noticed an increase in trauma responses and clients' caution about the safety of therapy. I practice helping children and adults cope with trauma responses and unhealthy generational beliefs about mental health disease; help women veterans cope with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; and provide spiritual counseling. I provide strategies for behavior modification and trauma recovery with people from multiple ethnicities. My goal is to continue to provide healthy strategies to navigate trauma and mental illness stigma.

My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to collaborate on therapy and treatment. Current interventions include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMRD) for emotional trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Spiritual therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Wellness Coaching

Trauma and unhealthy generational beliefs can cause so much pressure on overall health. I want to help clients use multiple strategies to handle real-world problems. Please contact me if you are seeking professional counseling and tools for generational and current trauma responses, PTSD, relationship, spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy incorporating Trauma-Focused Therapy in my practice. My sessions help clients navigate through Erikson's eight stages of psychosocial development, progressing from trust to autonomy, initiative, industry, identity, intimacy, generativity, and integrity. I help clients build tools that promote overall emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and environmental wellness.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a safe, welcoming space to share your story at your own pace. We will explore your current goals, gently connect them to Erikson’s stages of development where appropriate, and begin building a collaborative plan focused on your overall emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being.
