Hello! My name is Carol Bastien and I am an empathic, patient and compassionate therapist. I am very interested in working with you for all your counseling needs. I have years of experience working with individuals and families in clinics and in a residential setting. My clients face a myriad of challenging life issues including relationship issues psychiatric illness, loss and trauma.


I received my BA in Sociology and my Master's in Social Work at Hunter College New York City.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a solution-focused, strength-based approach using techniques in Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Training, Relational Life Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
