Great to meet you!

Life can be unpredictable and can impact how a person copes with the stressors of everyday life. During chaotic times many clients have mentioned feeling overwhelmed, angry and anxious about their current situation. Regardless of the circumstances that led to someone reaching out for therapy, they took the first step toward wanting to change. Therapy can provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you are validated and encouraged to express how you feel. My goal is to foster a strong therapeutic relationship and help and reach your personal goals.

I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist with extensive experience in providing evidence-based counseling to individuals, groups and families. I have experience with pediatric, adult and geriatric clients and have served the military population while being a military spouse for a decade. Additionally, I have mental health experience serving as a therapist providing crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment, and providing intensive family interventions. I have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, trauma informed care, and end of life services and I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and tailored to you as an individual. I want you to truly feel heard and understood, and my goal is to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgement. Everyone's journey is unique, so I work collaboratively with you to find what feels most helpful and meaningful for your personal growth and well-being. I want to empower others to take control of their lives and make choices that align with their needs and values. I strive to help individuals navigate life’s challenges and choices, always respecting their autonomy and unique journey.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to provide culturally competent care and help individuals achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive space where you feel heard and understood. My goal is for you to leave with greater clarity, practical tools, and a sense of progress, whether that is new insights, coping strategies or simply feeling more grounded. Each session is tailored to what you need in the moment, so we will work together to make sure it is meaningful for you.
