Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I am a warm, empathetic, and solution-focused therapist who creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to feel heard and supported. I received my MSW from University at Buffalo in 2023. I have experience in acute psychiatric settings, including crisis stabilization units and correctional environments, working with individuals facing complex and high-acuity challenges. In addition, I work with individuals struggling with life changes and hardships. As a veteran of the United States Air Force, I have a deep appreciation for the strengths and challenges that come with military service. I am passionate about working with veterans and supporting them in navigating life after service, processing trauma, and finding a renewed sense of stability and purpose. If you’re ready to take this next step, I would be honored to support you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each individual. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all method, and I work closely with clients to create a treatment approach that aligns with their unique needs, goals, and experiences.I primarily utilize EMDR to help clients process and heal from trauma, while also integrating evidence-based techniques to support emotional regulation, insight, and personal growth. I take a solution-focused and strengths-based approach, helping clients build on what is already working while addressing the areas that feel challenging.Above all, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts and emotions. Therapy is a space for you, to be heard, understood, and supported as you move toward meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we’ll get to know each other. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, explore your goals, and review any relevant history at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also answer any questions you may have so you can feel confident moving forward.
