Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I have a Master’s Degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.

With a background as a public-school teacher and college adjunct instructor, I connect easily with teens and college students and bring extensive experience in working with them as they maneuver through the challenges they face during these transitional times in their lives.

In addition to working with teenagers and young adults, I specialize in supporting individuals with bipolar disorder, offering tailored approaches to help manage mood swings, enhance emotional regulation, and create lasting stability. I understand the challenges that come with navigating this condition and am committed to providing a safe space for you to find the support and coping strategies you need.

Additionally, I have a passion for working with women facing unique struggles. From balancing career and family pressures to addressing societal expectations, I offer a compassionate and understanding space to help women thrive. Whether you're dealing with the challenges of self-worth, career transitions, or health issues, my goal is to empower you to reclaim your voice and embrace your full potential.

My approach to therapy

My clinical focus encompasses supporting clients through a wide range of issues, such as women's issues (including postpartum challenges, infertility and loss, coping with divorce), depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, self-harm, life transitions, trauma, bipolar, anger management, addiction, and abandonment. I am dedicated and skilled in developing tailored solutions to address your unique challenges and aspirations.

As a therapist trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I empower my clients with practical coping skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. I also integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy to create a personalized therapeutic experience. These evidence-based techniques allow you to express your feelings, reframe your thoughts, address negative thought patterns and behaviors, and find meaning in your experiences. My goal is to help you discover and embrace your best self. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood or unheard, I can help. I believe in the power of storytelling and encourage my clients to explore their narratives as a means of inspiration and self-discovery. I firmly believe it’s never too late to rewrite your story and cultivate a healthier, happier life.
