Great to meet you!

A trusting, safe, and warm therapy relationship is the foundation of real change. Research suggests that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important contributing factors to success in therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW-C), I make every effort to foster a trusting, safe, and warm therapy relationship with each of my clients.

My approach to therapy

My person-centered approach focuses on empathy, authenticity, and building a strong therapeutic relationship. Together, we explore thoughts and emotions, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will begin with a series of questions to build a broad picture of your psychosocial history, including current struggles, life events, or symptoms that brought you to therapy. We will also explore potential goals for what you hope to gain, change, or learn. My aim is that by the end of our first conversation you leave feeling heard rather than evaluated and ready to begin tackling concerns together.
