Great to meet you!

Career counseling focused on mental health in the workplace is my specialization. I help college students, job seekers and working professionals who are feeling burned out, anxious, or overwhelmed reconnect with their strengths and bring their best selves to work or school. Many of my clients juggle high expectations, relationship challenges at work or college, and feel stuck, frustrated, or held back by negative self-talk. Together, we work on recognizing these patterns, challenging self-imposed limitations, and building healthier, more confident ways of thinking.

My approach to therapy

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and Michigan, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and a SHRM-CP with the Society of Human Resource Management with over 20 years of experience in higher education, career counseling and mental health. I help clients identify their strengths, transferable skills, and personal values so they can improve communication, set boundaries, advocate for themselves, and make confident decisions about work, school, or career transitions.

What you can expect from me

I understand workplace and academic culture, including the realities of remote work and learning, and I value confidentiality. I’m an affirming ally to LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, and I strive to create a supportive, practical, and collaborative space—especially if this is your first time in therapy.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. In our first session, we’ll review your intake, talk through your goals, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward.
