Great to meet you!

Well hello there. I’m a clinical social worker licensed in Washington and Oregon. Before opening my private practice four years ago, I spent three years working with veterans at the VA, which shaped my respect for the ways people survive and adapt. Today I work with adults (18+) who feel emotionally numb, disconnected from their purpose, afraid of conflict, or weighed down by shame and low self-esteem. These struggles often show up as depression, PTSD, cPTSD, or dissociation. My work is depth-oriented and grounded in a client-centered, psychodynamic, and somatic mindfulness approach, with the inclusion of IFS-informed parts work. I offer virtual sessions in WA and OR and in-person therapy in Vancouver, WA.

My approach to therapy

I believe that if you can get curious about your suffering, you can begin to heal it. We start exactly where you are and move inward at a pace that feels safe, making compassionate contact with whatever shows up—including the defenses that have helped you survive. My approach is depth-oriented and experiential, integrating psychodynamic understanding, somatic mindfulness, and IFS-informed parts work. Together we create space for the anxious, numb, self-critical, or protective parts of you to be understood rather than pushed away. As that happens, people often experience more aliveness, choice, and a deeper connection to their authentic self.

What you can expect from me

If we work together, you can expect a safe, warm, and curious environment where all parts of you are welcome without judgment. You don’t need to have the right words or a perfectly clear story—we’ll move at your pace. The first session is a chance for me to learn what brings you in and for you to get a felt sense of what it’s like to work together. Many clients leave feeling relieved, more understood, and with a growing sense of compassion for themselves. Over time, this work tends to reduce suffering and create more ease and confidence in being who you are.
