Great to meet you!

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in California (32059) and Michigan (6301018605). I earned my Bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Michigan, my Master's and Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology from Bowling Green State University, and completed my clinical internship at the University of San Diego Counseling Center. I additionally completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Southern California Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity with a focus on psychological assessment and supporting students with ADHD, Learning Disorders, and young adults.

I have provided individual therapy, group therapy, and psychological assessment within college counseling, community mental health, and group practice settings. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from culturally diverse backgrounds across a range of treatment settings. I find it useful to adopt a collaborative and strength-based approach to support clients with a wide variety of presenting concerns.

My approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I use an integrative, client-centered approach that is individually tailored to each person based on their needs and presenting concerns. I utilize a combination of evidence-based treatment modalities including, but not limited to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Exposure and Response Prevention.

What you can expect from me

I became a psychologist with the goal of providing comprehensive and holistic mental health services. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients in individual therapy to identify and meet their own personal goals for success. I appreciate taking the time to get to know each client so I can better understand their background, needs, and plans for the future.
