Hi! My name is Cassaundra, I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Before I tell you a little about myself, I just want say that I am really happy you are here. It is not an easy thing to ask for help, or seek out therapy! Too often our problems feel too big and it’s hard to imagine how anyone could understand, let alone help. You are not alone. The first, and hardest step, is seeking help and you have done that!
As I mentioned I am a LMFT; meaning I was trained to work with individuals, families and couples. I have experience working with young children, teens, and adults.I have worked with a wide array of diagnoses such as: anxiety, depression, ADHD and PTSD; and on issues such as: relationships, self-confidence, life changes, stress management and communication. I believe life is very different for each and every person, and I believe therapy should mirror that vs a one size fits all approach.
What I offer to you is an opportunity to build a relationship and create a space that is as unique as you are. This can be a space to vent and process, or this can be a guided journey that provides structure and challenges.
