Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Cassie! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina with a master’s degree in counseling and experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe every person brings their own unique experiences, strengths, and challenges to therapy. I enjoy getting to know my clients as individuals and creating a space where they feel comfortable being open and authentic. Whether you are struggling with a specific concern or simply feel ready for something to change, I’m here to support you without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, meaning I meet you where you are and work collaboratively with you toward the goals that matter most to you. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring interventions to your individual needs, personality, and goals. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. Along with creating a safe space to process your experiences and emotions, I help clients develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and navigate difficult situations. My goal is for you to leave therapy with a better understanding of yourself and tools you can use in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your experiences, what you would like to be different, and the goals you hope to work toward. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, so there is no expectation that you have everything figured out before we begin. We’ll work together to identify priorities and determine where to start. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how therapy can support you moving forward.
