Catherine Dara Bailey

Thank you for taking time to learn about me as a counselor. I have experience working with children, adults, families and couples in a variety of settings including crisis intervention. I focus on clinical issues as well as everyday life situations. The areas I focus on are centered around anxiety, depression, anger management and relationship conflicts. I also have experience working with intellectual disabilities and multicultural issues.

My counseling approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I like to incorporate mindfulness and motivational interviewing into my sessions as well. I meet the client where they are and build from there. I will be working with each client on short-term goals and long terms goal that they have developed for themselves while being the biggest cheerleader while you cheer yourself on. This can be very rewarding for both me and the client.

I have an approachable demeanor by being empathetic to each individual while providing encouragement and support. I am very enthused about giving each client hope that the future is brighter than the past.
