Great to meet you!

Feeling overwhelmed by emotional pain, major changes, or the pressure of carrying too much for too long can leave you exhausted and unsure where to turn. I work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, cultural identity and immigration stress, and family and relationship issues. You may also be experiencing workplace burnout, grief and loss, anger, panic, women’s concerns, or difficulty adjusting to a new season of life.

I offer a compassionate, affirming space where your culture, relationships, strengths, and lived experiences are respected. Together, we will untangle the patterns keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, and help you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and peace. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your family, you do not have to navigate these challenges alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Seeking Safety, Narrative Therapy, Relational Therapy, Family Focused Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy.

Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, family patterns, culture, and past experiences may influence what you are facing today. Sessions balance warmth and reflection with practical tools for emotional regulation, healthier communication, stress management, and meaningful change. We will co-create goals that reflect your needs and strengths so therapy feels relevant, empowering, and connected to your lived experience.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel genuinely heard and supported. During our first sessions, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, what has or has not helped before, and what you hope will change. From there, we will create a personalized plan and regularly make sure our work remains aligned with your goals.

I will offer compassionate support, thoughtful questions, and practical strategies without losing sight of the cultural, relational, and personal context of your experiences. Over time, therapy can help you manage difficult emotions, strengthen communication and boundaries, improve relationships, process trauma and loss, and feel more confident navigating life’s transitions. Evening and weekend appointments may also make it easier to fit therapy into your schedule.
