Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. I am currently providing telehealth services to clients in Georgia and North Carolina and in-person sessions for clients in Eastern North Carolina. I specialize in working with adults experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, complicated grief, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. I have extensive experience supporting women who have navigated sexual exploitation and interpersonal violence.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for both standard and addiction protocols, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Addiction Counseling. Additionally, I am trained at Level 2 in Gottman Couples Therapy, which I use exclusively in my work with couples.

What you can expect from me

I will actively listen and together we will select a therapy option that you are comfortable with. I will ask questions to make sure I understand your issues and concerns completely. Together we will prioritize your goals and I will suggest strategies that will give you the greatest symptom relief possible.

Life can throw a lot at us. I am dedicated to helping people recover from experiences which are preventing them from living their best life
