Great to meet you!

I am a native North Carolinian, and as a licensed clinical social worker, I have provided in-home therapy services, served as a Behavioral Health Specialist in the Emergency Room, and as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the inpatient setting. I have worked in private practice for the past seven years with adults.

I hold a Doctor of Social Work program from Simmons University and have a Horticultural Therapy certificate from the Horticultural Therapy Institute at Colorado State University.

My approach to therapy

I remain curious to learn about you and your story. I use an integrative approach in a warm, nonjudgmental, safe space, partnering with you to address anxiety, depression and grief, build self-esteem and confidence. I will support you in developing strategies to navigate life transitions and relationship challenges, strengthen decision-making skills, dismantle self-limiting beliefs as well as create healthy boundaries to promote an overall sense of wellness.

What you can expect from me

Working together, we will unearth what has been holding you back, introduce new skills that can help nourish your mind, and help you to move toward the sustainability of living emotionally stronger.
