Great to meet you!

I believe people are not broken, they are shaped. The ways we think, cope, relate, and respond to life's challenges are influenced by our experiences, relationships, and the roles we've learned to carry. Many of the patterns that once helped us survive can eventually leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Child Development with a minor in Youth Ministry, followed by a master's degree in Professional Counseling. Over the past several years, I've worked with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who appear capable on the outside but feel exhausted, disconnected, or caught in patterns they don't fully understand. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we'll explore not only the challenges you're facing today but also the experiences and patterns that have shaped how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other trauma-informed strategies based on your goals and needs. For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable incorporating a Christian faith perspective into therapy.

I believe healing involves more than reducing symptoms. As we better understand the patterns that have influenced your life, we can begin developing healthier ways of responding that align with your values, relationships, and the person you want to become.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. There's no pressure to tell your entire story at once, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful.

We'll begin identifying the concerns that matter most to you, discuss your goals, and create a plan that fits your needs. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
