Hi there! I'm Ceci. I am the owner of Riding Waves Counseling PLLC. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds who have experienced trauma and other life challenges. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to support clients in the language they feel most comfortable using.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arkansas. I am also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and an Internationally Credentialed Sandtray Therapist (ICST). I have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Problematic Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I am currently expanding my clinical work through ongoing training in Somatic Experiencing.
I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. Seeking help takes courage, and meeting you in that space requires humility from me. Together, we create a space built on trust and safety—where you can show up just as you are, and where healing can begin. It is my hope that we can work together to move toward greater understanding, growth, and healing.
