Great to meet you!

I have had extensive practice working directly with individuals navigating complex life events, people working in austere environments within the government, active duty and Veterans, first responders, and individuals navigating life transitions as well as grief. I am an LCSW and LCAS specializing in trauma and addiction as well as Clinical Certified Trauma Professional. Having a father is a Vietnam Veteran, a husband having retired after a 23 year active duty career, raising three daughters now in their young adulthood, and experiencing my own personal journey of grief and loss I bring a specialized approach of empathy and professionalism.

My approach to therapy

My approach is humanistic, person-centered, strengths based, and direct. I am focused on creating a warm and nonjudgmental space in order to allow for processing and prioritizing self-reflection. Utilizing my training in modalities that are specific to addressing painful and complex lived experiences I offer a safe and creative environment to promote momentum forward in life.

What you can expect from me

I hope to not only receive pertinent information of your history, where you are now in current circumstances, discovering what specifically has brought you to therapy now, and if you have specific goals for your time in therapy in order to achieve appropriate and supportive results.
