Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated mental health provider with years of experience supporting individuals across diverse settings, including intensive outpatient programs for substance use and community-based outpatient mental health services. My work has shown me that every person carries a story—and that story matters. Our experiences shape our identity, influence our behaviors, and often reflect deep, valid survival strategies. I honor that truth in my work, approaching each client with empathy and a commitment to understanding how past choices may have once served a meaningful purpose.

Having faced my own mental health challenges, I understand firsthand the feelings of hopelessness, isolation, and defeat. That lived experience fuels my passion for walking alongside others as they navigate their own healing journeys. As both a mental health professional and an individual committed to personal growth, I continue to learn—not only through formal education, but through the shared experiences of those I serve. I strive to show up authentically in every therapeutic space and invite my clients to do the same. My educational background helps me to bring evidence-based tools into the therapeutic atmosphere, so that real, substantial change can be seen. I love to learn, because in learning I am able to grow in knowledge and the more I know, the more I can help those in need.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I utilize an eclectic approach to treating my clients. However, my primary intervention used is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I firmly believe that the way a person thinks greatly influences their behaviors. To go even further, I believe that our thoughts and emotions greatly influence the way we behave/ react/ respond to our environment. The things you seek to change are possible. They are just hidden under layers of thoughts and feelings that need to be worked through. My approach is to provide a supportive, warm and honest space for you to have those big thoughts and emotions, with no judgement, and reach a place of acceptance. From there we stride together on the path of rewriting your story, your way.

What you can expect from me

I encourage all my clients to walk into session with an expectation. I can't promise I will meet It every time, but I will try my absolute best to. With our sessions, I seek to provide care, insight driven conversations and affirm you in what I know is true...even if it's not seen yet.

Expect to at minimum be encouraged to reach your goals and at maximum build the resilience to walk through the fire into a true, beautiful and authentically curated life created by you and meant for you to occupy.
